POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for overseeing packagers, accurately record the readings, moistures and adjustments and minor mechanical repairs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate dryer with quality and efficiency.
To follow proper SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).
Oversee dryer packagers as to proper job performance.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dryer room, sifter room, packaging room, staging and warehouse area.
Accurate SAP entries.
Accurate recording of gauge readings, moistures, and adjustments.
Responsible for correct Julian dates on packaging.
Minor maintenance required.
Must be willing to work weekends and Overtime.
Responsible for accurate completion of Man hour sheets for production and downtime.
Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
