Manager, Financial Reporting



Job Details



  • Responsible for completing, or overseeing the completion of, all aspects of external SEC reporting related to one of our business units currently preparing for an initial public offering
  • Ownership of all SEC reporting and other internal reporting requirements associated with externally delivered financial information (including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, 11-K, S-3/4)
  • Ownership of accuracy of external filings and compliance with all regulations around external reporting, including developing/maintaining internal controls around external reporting to ensure compliance with SOX standards and compliance with XBRL
  • Ownership of the internal consolidated financial reporting
  • Responsible for overseeing the completion of U.S. government quarterly and annual reporting
  • Ownership of relationship with auditors related to external reporting and technical accounting
  • Ownership of internal deliverables related to financial reporting
  • Ensures compliance with SEC and US GAAP disclosure requirements
  • Compliance with internal controls around certain accounting/financial reporting activities
  • Performs technical accounting tasks as assigned, including goodwill impairment assessments
  • Participates in and/or leads special projects as assigned

    Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree in Accounting preferred
  • CPA certification preferred
  • 4-7 years experience in combination of large public accounting firm with SEC clients and private industry with SEC responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and theory
