Job Duties:

  • Support the Benefits Hotline by answering general telephone calls and reply to retirement plan questions submitted through the Post Benefits Department Inbox.
  • Primary point of contact for the Benefits Hotline team and business unit HR teams for escalated and/or more technical retirement plan questions or issues.
  • Assist with eligibility, enrollment and questions and tracking related to Post Holdings Inc.’s qualified and non-qualified U.S. and Canadian retirement plans.
  • Partner with Vanguard to ensure that annual updates are made to the online enrollment portal, as needed.
  • Assist with training and education of the Post Holdings retirement benefit plans for business unit HR team members, members and participants.
  • Coordinate creation, production and distribution of materials communicating benefit plan provisions and features to employees, including form design and production. Interact with the Benefits Supervisor, Health & Welfare Plans and Benefits Supervisor, Retirement Plans for open enrollment communications and retirement plan vendors and legal resources for additional communications to ensure that preparation and production of communication materials meet cost and deadline constraints.
  • Interact with outsourced systems support and internal departments such as HRIS, Human Resources, Payroll and Accounting to ensure proper administration of plans.
  • Peer review the various retirement plan funding requests (wires) for both our U.S. and Canadian Plans which are prepared by the Benefits Coordinator.
  • Partner closely with the Benefits Supervisor, Retirement Plans to oversee our Canadian retirement plan programs while addressing administrative questions and projects as they arise.
  • Coordinate and monitor processes with vendors to ensure efficient, accurate administration of retirement benefit plans.
  • Proactively identify problems and recommend solutions for consideration to the Benefits Supervisor, Retirement Plans and/or Director, Benefits Administration.
  • Determine manual and electronic data interface requirements with vendors and work in conjunction with our HRIS Department on new projects or plan changes.
  • Support the day-to-day management for Post’s retiree health reimbursement account available to retirees. Partner closely with the Benefits Supervisor, Retirement Plans to manage the electronic data interface requirements with our retirement plan vendors.
  • Assist the Benefits Supervisor, Retirement Plans with the audit of our monthly pension payments
  • Assist with monthly, annual and ad hoc reports for management to assist with on-going and strategic development of benefit plans.
  • Assist with maintaining project plans for ongoing work related to retirement benefit projects.
  • Ensure compliance with the applicable filings for all plans. Including 5500 filings, discrimination testing and PBGC filings in partnership with the Benefits Supervisor, Retirement Plans.
  • Partner with the Benefits Supervisor, Health & Welfare Plans and the Benefits Supervisor, Retirement Plans to ensure updates are made to the applicable retirement plan Summary Plan Descriptions
  • Ensure that retirement benefits administration, internal and external, is conducted in accordance with federal and state legislation regulating employee benefit plans.
  • Partner closely with Payroll to update benefits applications in payroll system for purpose of implementing new benefit plans and changing benefits payroll deductions.
  • Provide indirect supervision of a Benefits Coordinator.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • BA/BS Business Administration in Human Resources or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years in Benefits Administration experience
  • Computer Skills with knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Project Management Skills
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Communication (written and verbal) Skills
  • Knowledge of Ultimate Software a plus
