Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting

Position Overview:

The Financial Analyst will support the key processes and objectives of the Financial Reporting department, working closely with FP&A, Operations Finance and Revenue Management. This position will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of all key financial reports as well as assisting with the month-end close process. To succeed in this role, it will be critical that a candidate has strong technical and analytical skills and can partner effectively cross functionally.


  • Manage and maintain integrity and accuracy of Company financial statements
  • Review Tableau sales reporting to verify completeness and accuracy
  • Prepare monthly cost of production reporting for items sold to related parties through predetermined Contract Manufacturing agreements
  • Prepare reporting to support new retail innovation products
  • Leverage existing reporting out of SAP and Oracle to facilitate the business’ understanding of key performance indicators within manufacturing
  • Prepare item, category, and customer profitability reporting to be used throughout the organization in evaluating monthly performance
  • Prepare and distribute customer & category net sales slides to the sales & trade teams to be included in the monthly sales review deck
  • Prepare and distribute plant expense statements to operations teams for variance analysis on performance versus prior year, forecast, and budget
  • Assist with month-end close journal entries including significant accruals, adjustments and other estimates
  • Report on monthly sow cost results and P&L impact versus prior year, forecast, and budget
  • Provide detail and support for tax requests related to product donations and gross dollar sales by state
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred)
  • 1-3 years experience in Finance or Accounting
  • High level of proficiency in Excel with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications (i.e. Tableau, OneStream, SAP)
  • Demonstrated analytical skills including ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw conclusions, and present recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various levels of the organization
  • Results-oriented with ability to initiate and lead projects to completion
  • Ability to perform analysis of business information and identify trends
  • Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple concurrent tasks to meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy of analyses and business reporting
