The Cybersecurity Administrator will be the primary day to day resource for managing and implementing IT security related activities for Michael Foods, Inc. and its operating companies.


  • Responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the cybersecurity program within Michael Foods.
  • Responsible for the daily operations of the cybersecurity security awareness program across the organization.
  • Provides first line response for the threat and incident management processes with the ability to escalate advanced cases to the Cybersecurity Engineer.
  • Reviews and processes remote access requests in accordance with Michael Foods’ vendor access program.
  • Participates in the vulnerability management program and with ability to perform some light system patching.
  • Will assist in configuring and an implementing Privileged Access Management
  • Prepares change request documentation in support of implementing cybersecurity requests for the IT teams.
  • Participates in security related assessments and penetration test remediation planning
  • Provides direct support to the business and IT staff for security related issues and requests
  • Limited travel, as required, for up to 1 week at a time. Nights/weekends may be required during critical events or testing application implementations.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science OR 3+ years IT work experience.
  • Experience with operating system patching is a plus
  • Industry certifications from vendors such as CompTIA, GIAC, ICS2, ISACA, eLearnSecurity are a plus
  • Experience with Identity management and SOX and Legal Compliance a plus
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively.
  • Ability to stay current with technology and research evolving threats in the industry
  • Must be able to maintain a positive and professional attitude during high pressure situations.
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to be self-monitored and self-motivated
  • Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Project experience, teamwork skills required
