Brand Manager - Growth & Innovation



Job Details



The Brand Manager, Growth and Innovation, will be responsible for leading our new product development efforts, from both internal ideation and customer driven initiatives. This position will work closely with our Marketing Directors and larger cross-functional teams to ensure our development projects support our long-term portfolio growth objectives. The brand manager will foster growth which fit our core competencies and simultaneously develop new capabilities.


  • Drive business results
  • Manage the development and launch of new branded products for the value-added egg, refrigerated potato, sides and sausage product portfolios for both foodservice and food ingredients
  • Support key customer accounts in the development of customized products
  • Collaborate with marketing research and category team to build a pipeline of new products
  • Develop and implement new product launch plans with the larger marketing team
  • Actively monitor and evaluate the metrics associated with new product performance
  • Performs other projects or activities as requested
  • Deliver results through working with people
  • Inspire, motivate and encourage others to move toward significant vision or goal
  • Identify lead and participate in cross-functional teams to efficiently and effectively deliver results
  • Communicate knowledgeably with internal R&D, QA & Operations teams about product needs
  • Collaborate with sales force, sufficiently gain their trust and commitment
  • Ensure market driven direction
  • Demonstrate passion for creating value for the customer
  • Use solid market data in decision making
  • Possess data to prove product value proposition is superior to competitor
  • Articulate clear and compelling vision to lead the company in a market-drive direction
  • Manage multiple priorities
  • Manage time and workflow to meet business objectives
  • Utilize principles of project management

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on marketing, or acceptable industry experience.
  • 5-10 years marketing experience in the food industry.
  • Demonstrates success in new product development and execution.
  • Knowledge of food product development and experience in effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Working knowledge of design and graphic concepts.
  • Solid understanding of Food Service Broker network preferred.
