Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) during production, sanitation, and

handling materials and ingredients.

2. Maintain equipment

3.Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced work environment.

4.Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective

Equipment) as prescribed for each work activity or job.

5. Follow all SQF principles pertinent to the position as specified by the SQF practitioner.

6. All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel

such as QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc.

7. Perform DOT checks on all equipment.

8. All other duties as assigned

Knowledge:

• Ability to apply good judgement and understanding to carry out detailed instructions

furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

• Ability to communicate any issues with supervisor

• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

• Knowledge of GMP and safe food manufacturing practices a plus

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience preferred

• Forklift/Pallet Jack Certification a plus

• CDL license a requirement
