Coordinator - Training & Development
Position:Training Technician Location: Bob Evans Farms - Lima Plant
Possible Shifts: 6 am – 6 pm on a 2-2-3 schedule
6 pm – 6 am on a 2-2-3 schedule
Position Reports to:Training Manager
This newly created position will support the Training Manager in maintaining and leading the training platform for the Lima Facility. This person will be responsible for daily measurement of the program, entering progress reports and required documentations for audits.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Training employees at the hourly level in the areas of employee relations, engagement, teamwork, and performance coaching
- Assist in administrating all e-learning (Alchemy) programs at the plant
- Assist in plant LEAN Manufacturing initiatives including Six Sigma (GEAR at Lima)
- Maintain training materials for the facility.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOP’s) with the assistance of department managers and supervisors
Conduct position audits and evaluate performance to identify training needs at all levels
Maintain a cross-training matrix and documenting employee training hours
High School Diploma
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production environment; Food industry preferred
Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Word, Power Point and Excel)
Solid training and facilitation skills
Skill for recognition of new opportunities and problem solving
Ability to work in a multi-task, deadline-oriented environment
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Must be willing to work flexible hours and shifts
Must be willing to attend off-site training
Other duties as assigned
