POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Utility Person is to provide coverage throughout the breaking department. This person is proficient in many of the positions and tasks in the department. Co-workers, supervisors and managers benefit from this person who willing provides coverage for breaks and employees who are off from work due to sickness or vacation time. The Utility person is required to learn as many of the positions and tasks as possible that may need to done in the Breaking Department. They must be proficient enough in the jobs and tasks to move at a moment’s notice with minimal training or instruction.
