POSITION SUMMARY

  • Inspects the packages of the finished products for shells, grades, and the correct number of eggs per package.
  • Assists the inspector for the quality of eggs.
  • Helps to keep the room clean.
  • Puts the proper labels on tubs.
  • Stacks tubs of the finished product on the pallet correctly.
  • Understands dates, exp. & item numbers.
  • Adheres to safe work practices, following GMP’s, maintaining sanitary conditions, and ensuring that product quality is maintained. Reports to management if any conditions or practices may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Able to perform other duties as assigned.

    • Specific skills and abilities required that are not included in other sections:

  • Available to work holidays, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
  • Able to follow oral instructions, quality rules, and procedures.
  • Able to read and understand operating procedures.
  • Has the skills needed for performing basic math computations.
  • Capable of repeatedly lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work safely with chemicals.
