    The Vice President-Corporate Controller BellRing Brands is the individual principally responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for BellRing Brands, Inc., which comprises of business units including Premier Nutrition, Dymatize, and Active Nutrition International, and holding company legal entities BellRing Brands, Inc. and BellRing Brands, LLC. The Vice President-Corporate Controller BellRing Brands will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer of BellRing Brands and be responsible for general oversight of the BellRing Brands accounting team and will frequently interface with accounting teams at Dymatize and Active Nutrition International. The Company will also leverage resources at its parent company, Post Holding, Inc., who will prepare consolidated financial statements, footnotes and other required information for the BellRing Brands SEC filings.

    The Vice President-Corporate Controller BellRing Brands will review, implement, and monitor all accounting functions of the company following strict adherence to US GAAP, SEC and relevant international standards as well as all legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the company including, Sarbanes-Oxley. The Vice President-Corporate Controller BellRing Brands will serve as the primary liaison between BellRing Brands and Post Holdings accounting team, who has responsibly for preparing consolidated financial statements and all SEC filings, and as reviewer of Post Holdings. The Vice President-Corporate Controller BellRing Brands will also coordinate the annual audit processes across all the company and interface with auditors. The Vice President-Corporate Controller BellRing Brands will be experienced in the planning and execution of growth strategies in the accounting function while working closely with the leadership team of Premier Nutrition and oversight of the accounting teams.

    This role is based at the Premier Nutrition Corporation offices location in Emeryville, California and will include the VP-Controller of Premier Nutrition as a direct report. Travel is estimated to be 10% or less with primary travel to St. Louis (Post Holdings, Inc. headquarters) and other division locations (Dallas and less frequently, Munich).



  • Coordinate and drive the day-to-day accounting and monthly financial reporting close process for BellRing Brands
  • Serve as the key liaison with Post Holdings, Inc. resources to ensure accuracy of consolidated BellRing Brand financial statements results
  • Review the financial statements at Dymatize and Active Nutrition International for completeness and accuracy, including responsibility over input accuracy and completeness of OneStream (financial reporting consolidation system)
  • Coordinate and review the financial reporting prepared by Post Holdings, Inc, resources for division entities BellRing Brands, Inc. and BellRing Brands, LLC, which will include equity accounting, stock-based compensation, income taxes, cash, debt and intercompany accounting
  • Provide the financial planning and analysis team an understanding of key drivers of financial results, especially for the holding company entities

  • Ownership of the internal deliverables related to quarterly and fiscal year financial reporting
  • Responsible for overseeing compliance with SEC reporting and US GAAP disclosure requirements
  • Coordinate with and review for completeness and accuracy the Form 10Q and other related SEC filings prepared by Post Holdings, Inc. resources
  • Review Post Holdings, Inc. prepared financial statements, footnotes, management discussion & analysis, and other required disclosures
  • Oversee the preparation of and review the quarterly flux packet
  • Sarbanes-Oxley compliance oversight and coordination
  • Coordinate goodwill and other intangible impairment assessments

  • Provide strategic leadership to the accounting function and its people generally
  • Coach, guide, and mentor the accounting teams, setting team priorities and strategic focus areas
  • Interface with Post Holdings Inc. for accounting, tax, treasury, internal audit, and other compliance activities
  • Provide forecast information and explanations as needed for BellRing Brands division cost
  • Establish and adhere to accounting policies and procedures
  • Oversee the capital expenditure approval process
  • Oversee implementation of new accounting rules and changes


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, Master’s degree preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant required
  • Experience:

  • Significant experience at a senior executive level leading an accounting function and team in a publicly traded company (5+ years)
  • Knowledge of consumer-packaged goods or adjacent sector in a management role (5+ years)
  • Experience with a large public accountancy firm preferred
  • Hands on experience with complex accounting areas such as stock based compensation, intangible assets, debt, income taxes and purchase accounting for mergers
  • Experience with accounting systems
