The Role…

Premier Nutrition is looking for someone who can provide operations warehouse support by developing a deep understanding of supply chain operations and cross-functional teams’ needs. This person will need to proactively partner with third-party warehouses to identify trends and resolve issues. Lastly, the Operations Specialist should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to deliver results in a highly dynamic and challenging environment.

3PL Warehouse Management: 30% of Time

  • Function as 1st point of escalation for warehouse issues.
  • Review KPI metrics, inbound/outbound volumes, and validate warehouse bills
  • Assist in identifying and resolving bottle necks, inventory variances, and OS&D across the 3PL network
  • Analyze large sets of data with Excel and Tableau
  • Cross-functional collaboration: 30% of Time

  • Provide root cause analysis for inquiries from CSR, Inventory Control, Deployment, and QA teams, to prevent ongoing issues
  • Partner with Transportation and Supply Planning team to optimize Supply Chain network
  • Lead special projects and rework requests
  • Review monthly shrink loss with Inventory Control team
  • Pooled-pallet management (CHEP/PECO/iGPS): 30% of Time

  • Monthly tracking and reporting of all inbound and outbound activity
  • Inventory reconciliation between Netsuite ERP, 3PL WMS, and Pooled-pallet systems
  • Support and lead annual pallet audits across all 3PL warehouses
  • The daily stuff that everyone does but few quantify: 10% of Time

  • Attending meetings and presentations
  • Impromptu conversations with colleagues
  • Contributing ideas and energy to process improvements
  • What are we looking for?

    Education:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent business experience
  • Experience:

  • Working knowledge of supply chain, order management processes, and basic reconciliation skills
  • Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures and WMS
  • Tracking and measuring KPI Metrics
  • Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills to analyze large amounts of data
  • Project and time management
  • Root-cause analysis
  • Energetic, self-motivated and the ability to act with a sense of urgency
  • Comfortable working independently as well as with a team
