PNC is part of the Active Nutrition segment and is operated by its own senior leadership team, with publicly traded Post Holdings, Inc. (FY 2018 sales of $6.3 billion) as a parent company acting in a “private equity” capacity. Post Holdings’ Active Nutrition segment is a leader in providing innovative products that support healthy, active lifestyles with over $800 million in sales. Premier Nutrition utilizes a third-party network for manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution. Post Holdings is comprised of the Active Nutrition portfolio, which includes PNC, Dymatize, ­­­and Active Nutrition International (protein bars, shakes and powder products), Post Consumer Brands (cereals), Michael Foods (eggs, potato, cheese, and pasta), Weetabix (cereals), private label business groups, and Bob Evans Farms (a leader in frozen breakfast meats and vegetables).


The Logistic Coordinator plans, coordinates, and analyzes the transportation of our products throughout the distribution network. Collaborates with multiple Supply Chain departments to ensure proper Transportation management and works closely with transportation partners to protect the movement of products while maximizing efficiencies and delivering best in class service to internal and external customers. Supports network optimization with cost and service analysis and works with the Transportation Manager to support long-term network planning to meet future growth.



  • Coordinates Transportation Operations with Customer Service, Warehouses, Co-Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Carriers/Brokers
  • Works cross-functionally within the Supply Chain departments to maintain service levels, streamline operations and processes as needed, and helps in the creation of a cost-effective transportation model
  • Manages and analyzes the Routing Guide continuously and recommends revisions to optimize transportation operations and costs
  • Monitors market conditions and fluctuations that can impact transportation costs
  • Acts as the main point of contact for Transportation Coordination within the Supply Chain

  • Develops strong working relationships with internal and external customers to include the Supply Chain, Carriers, Brokers, Co-Manufacturers and Suppliers
  • Performs root cause analysis to eliminate issues, propose, and implement system improvements
  • Responsible for carrier freight claims research and filing
  • Analyzes On-Time Delivery performance, OS&D, and claim data to develop full service perspective on carriers

  • Evaluates current carrier Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for quality logistics performance, timely transit, and operational service
  • Collaborates with Manager to develop new Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as needed with the goal of elevating carrier performance and service standards
  • Collaborates in the analysis of vendor business reviews
  • Supports Supply Chain related projects and analysis by providing data and informational support
  • Audits Freight Invoices


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience
  • Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in operations within the Supply Chain
  • Logistics systems user experience (TMS, WMS, Freight Optimization, Load Planning) preferred
  • Analytical experience working in Logistics preferred
  • Experience in FTL, LTL and managing transportation through 3PL’s
  • Experience with transportation metrics (KPIs)
  • Thorough understanding on how each functional department within the Supply Chain interacts -Focus on Transportation
  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to deliver results in a highly dynamic and evolving environment
  • Must demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and presentations
