The Role…

PNC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Contracts Administrator to join our tight-knit, small-but-mighty Legal Department. This role works closely with the General Counsel and Associate Counsel to ensure accuracy and efficiency of our contracts management system. The Legal Contracts Administrator will not only be the point person for all things contracts, but will also help ensure that the legal department runs smoothly.

Contract Management: 85% of Time:

  • Become a super user of our Contract Management System, Conga Contracts, and work collaboratively with our internal business units to create and manage its efficient use;
  • Be the legal department point person for all contact requests;
  • Create / review initial contract drafts;
  • Shepherd contracts from request and execution through compliance;
  • Work with internal business units to extract, upload, and track relevant contract meta data in our Contract Management System;
  • Manage and update legal contract templates and our best-practice contract clause library;
  • Coordination & Special Projects: 15% of Time:

  • Managing the department calendar and legal document storage systems;
  • Coordinating documents notarizations, mailings, etc.;
  • Coordinating trainings sessions;
  • Assisting with special projects as needed, and;

  • What are we looking for?

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Juris Doctor (JD) welcome to apply
  • Exceptionally relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education on a case by case basis
  • Experience:

  • 5+ years of contract management and coordination experience, preferably with drafting and negotiating experience, and preferably in-house, Bonus: experience in Consumer Package Goods or Food and Beverage industries;
  • Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of contracts
