JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Lead, the Forklift Driver 1 is responsible for unloading, receiving, and storage of finished product, the picking and assembly of finished product pallets, and loading of the finished product.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Receive and verify finished goods received against purchase orders and work orders.
  2. Transport finished goods from receiving areas to storage areas and put away finished goods to the appropriate pick or overstock location.
  3. Pick finished goods from pick locations and or overstock locations and complete transactions on the computer or pick sheet. Build and mark the pallets of picked products in a manner that allows for efficient delivery by a driver.
  4. Periodically count finished goods either during weekly cycle counting or during the year-end inventory process.
  5. Assist with cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  6. Actively participate in and promote our safety culture by following safe work practices and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Responsible for reporting all incidents, accidents and observations of unsafe acts or conditions.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to operate specific equipment or tools
  • Must be able to work in constant temperatures of 30-40 degrees, and occasional temperatures of zero degrees.
  • Ability to work independently and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform the following movements continuously throughout your shift:
  • Bend/Stoop
  • Stand
  • Walk
  • Reach above shoulder level
  • Repetitive hand movements
  • Push/Pull
  • Ability to continuously carry up to 34 pounds, frequentlycarry up to 50 pounds and occasionallycarry up to 74 pounds
  • Ability to continuously lift up to 24 pounds, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 74 pounds
