Our heritage stems back to the early 1990s when over 1,100 entrepreneurial farm families built our state-of-the-art durum mill and pasta manufacturing plant. Golden Boy Foods’ Fruit & Nut Business Unit is focused on healthier food categories and is a leading manufacturer and distributor of hundreds of private label and branded food products. Our extensive product offering includes conventional and organic baking nuts, snacking nuts, trail mixes, raisins, dried fruits and other products (beans, rice & flour). Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Buyer is responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders and the delivery of materials to meet the company’s manufacturing requirements, and to maintain stock inventory levels within established guidelines in order to support production planning based on finished goods requirements. The Buyer will maintain supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance and quality, cost saving initiatives, and participate in issue resolution.
